Rich man? Poor man?

Jingle bells in the snow,
Eid is coming with a glow,
Fasting all the day long,
Eid is coming with a song.

Fasting early morning til the night,
From the love of Allah this is our plight,
Training our bodies to go without,

Just like the poor man out and about.

Think of the poor man in poor countries,
Starving children in pain crying on their knees,
For every morsel of food that you leave,
These people would be grateful to recieve.

Pictures of children so innocent and pure,
Some have diseases no one can cure,
Their bodies are nothing but all skin and bone,
In their dry, dusty lands nothing is grown.

When your anger builds up on your fasting day,
Substain it deep inside and go and pray,
You'll have luxuries at the end of the fast,
But the poor man starves will he last?

The month of fast draws to a close,
Celebrations with riches of food and new clothes,
No thought from you is given to the worlds poor,
These people have no choice but to starve more!

So sister and brother with riches of food on your
plate,
Think of these people or is it too late?
Go to prayer in the mosque and behave,
Is this little poor man already in his grave?
